Cut Nyak Meutia was a female warrior from North Aceh who personally led guerrilla forces in the Pase forests alongside her husband, Teuku Chik Tunong. After his execution, she continued fighting with Pang Nanggroe.
Following Pang Nanggroe's fall, she retreated to the Alue Kurieng forest with remaining forces. On October 24, 1910, surrounded by Dutch marechaussee troops, she refused to surrender and died in a fierce rencong duel.
