Lhok Mee Beach & Kurundong Trees
Terban Beach is an exotic brown-sand beach featuring hollow rock formations located in Aceh Tamiang Regency. The beach offers a quiet coastal atmosphere and relatively calm waves from the Malacca Strait.
Fringing coconut trees sway in the sea breeze, providing natural shade for visitors relaxing on the shore. The rocky cliffs along the beach serve as a popular photography spot for local youth.
During low tide, muddy areas near the estuary reveal mangrove crabs and other marsh marine life, serving as an interesting nature education spot for kids. The ocean breeze is highly refreshing.
Facilities at Terban Beach are being developed by the local government, adding park benches, restrooms, prayer rooms, and local food stalls. The beach is easily accessible from Karang Baru city.
