Lhok Mee Beach
Pantan Terong is a scenic hilltop viewpoint situated at 1,830 meters above sea level in the mountains of Central Aceh. From this peak, visitors enjoy a complete panoramic view of Takengon city.
Additionally, the beauty of Lake Laut Tawar stretching out between green mountain ranges is visible from the top of Pantan Terong. The hill air is cold and often blanketed by thick fog, resembling a land above the clouds.
A concrete viewing balcony with safety railings has been built at the summit for photos. Cozy cafes serving hot Gayo coffee are available for visitors to warm up while taking in the high-altitude landscape.
The road leading to Pantan Terong is paved but very steep, requiring a well-conditioned vehicle. Along the ascent, travelers pass through fertile vegetable farms and pine forests.
