Suhom Waterfall is a beautiful 50-meter waterfall hidden in the durian forests of Lhoong District, Aceh Besar. The roaring sound of the waterfall is soothing and can be heard from a distance.
The waterfall is surrounded by black rocky cliffs covered in lush vegetation. The cascade forms a natural pool with gentle currents near the edges, making it safe for both children and adults to swim.
A unique feature of Suhom Waterfall is its location amidst hundreds of local durian trees. During durian season (June-August), visitors can buy fresh durians that fall directly from the trees.
The tourist area is equipped with facilities such as a prayer room, restrooms, changing rooms, gazebos, and local food stalls. It can be reached by a scenic drive across the winding Paro and Kulu mountain passes.
