Blang Kolam Waterfall is a hidden natural tourist destination nestled in the dense tropical forests of North Aceh. This spot features majestic twin waterfalls cascading from a height of approximately 75 meters down a limestone cliff into a large, deep natural pool. The surrounding atmosphere is cool, serene, and lush, accompanied by the thundering sound of falling water and the songs of wild birds, making it a perfect retreat from urban hustle.
To reach this hidden beauty, visitors must embark on a challenging trekking adventure, descending around 660 concrete stairs built along a steep, forested hillside. While the descent and the climb back up require significant energy, the sight of the twin waterfalls framed by trees and green mossy rock formations instantly rewards the effort. The natural pool beneath the falls is great for swimming and bathing, though visitors are advised to remain cautious of the deep water directly under the cascades.
