Pucok Krueng, which literally translates to 'The End of the River', is a hidden natural pool located in Rima, Peukan Bada, Aceh Besar, just about 15 kilometers from Banda Aceh city center. This destination is a tranquil freshwater pond with beautiful turquoise gradients, surrounded by dense tropical trees and towering vertical limestone cliffs.
At the far end of the pond lies a vertical limestone cave mouth where the spring water feeding the lagoon originates. The atmosphere here is extremely quiet and far from urban noise, offering a perfect healing spot. Main activities include swimming in the refreshing cool water, taking photos of the limestone cliffs reflecting on the mirror-like water surface, or swinging from rope swings into the water.
The area is also a popular spot for pre-wedding photography due to its exotic, fairytale-like landscape. Local management preserves its natural charm by keeping development to a minimum around the water's edge.
